3 day Forged to finish knifemaking class

Do you love forged in fire? Do you think you could do that with a little bit of help? That's what this is all about! Learn to fully forge a hidden tang knife! you will start with a bar of high carbon steel & finish the course with a fully finished knife of your design from someone who was on Forged in fire! (Season 9 episode 8) This is going to be 3 days of 4 hour sessions. You will learn everything you need to know in order to make a fully forged hidden tang knife & a simple kydex sheath!
All materials are provided. If you took the Damascus making class, feel free to bring your billet & let's forge a knife out of it! 
 
Day 1 (Friday 5-9pm):
-Designing a 3-5 inch blade
-Using a hammer to move steel
-Forging a blade
-Proper heat treating in a forge
 
Day 2 (Saturday 4-8m):
-Cleaning & prepping a knife for grinding
-How to grind your knife to final shape
-Grinding bevels
-How to cut & shape knife handles
-Glueing up your knife
 
Day 3 (Sunday 4-8pm):
-Sanding your knife handle
-Different finishes for knives & knife handles
-Sharpening
-How to make a simple Kydex Sheath
